Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Demolish structures and debris removal following OSHA standards
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and finish surfaces
- Maintain equipment and report safety hazards immediately
- Support other trades as needed to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
