Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation, cutting, and installation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and job site regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on construction or labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Greater Boston
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
