Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Perform debris removal, site cleanup, and basic demolition tasks
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and verbal instructions
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finish work as needed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction terminology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
