Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (hard hats, vests, gloves)
- Perform basic demolition, excavation, and trenching as directed
- Inspect tools and equipment daily, report malfunctions immediately
- Support team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for tardiness
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather (heat, humidity)
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
- No prior experience required – training provided
