Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with task-specific support
- Safely operate hand/power tools and equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs)
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, bracing, and temporary structures
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
