Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and safety zone maintenance
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light machinery under supervision
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and verbal instructions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends (20-30 hrs/week)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for no-shows
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
