Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications accurately
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form setup
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and project coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or equivalent trade school training
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong mechanical aptitude with tool proficiency
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Valid driver's license with clean record
