Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform manual labor including excavation, debris removal, and concrete finishing
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Assist with equipment maintenance and site security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for early morning start times
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
