Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, demolition, and debris removal
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and scaffolding
- Report equipment issues and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Basic construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification if needed
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
