Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Safely operate hand/power tools including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans for accurate task execution
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform site layout, excavation support, and concrete finishing tasks
- Load/un construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Document daily progress and maintain organized job site conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
