Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow waste management procedures
- Perform light demolition, excavation support, and concrete finishing tasks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for early morning starts
- Experience with power tools preferred but not required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work weekends and overtime during peak seasons
