Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform heavy lifting, debris removal, and site cleanup to maintain safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Read and interpret basic blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Adhere to OSHA protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete pouring, formwork installation, and finishing tasks
- Assist in setting up job site barricades and safety signage
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work collaboratively
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts as needed
