Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform demolition, excavation, and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily timecards and incident reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
