Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, debris removal, and concrete finishing
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and safety barriers
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company provides training)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
