Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Complete daily task assignments and report progress to site supervisor
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Louisville
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided free)
