Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload equipment and materials using proper techniques
- Perform light demolition, excavation, and site cleanup tasks
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and scaffolding
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from project supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and willingness to learn protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate in team settings
