Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material preparation, site cleanup, and equipment setup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Load/un construction materials and maintain organized job site storage
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from project managers
- Perform general site maintenance including debris removal and hazard identification
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction experience or equivalent training
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction terminology
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
