Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate basic equipment (e.g., saws, drills, compactors) under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and pre-operation checks
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammers, wrenches, measuring tools)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
