Responsibilities
- Assist with construction site preparation including material handling, cleanup, and safety compliance
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Support skilled trades with material delivery and equipment setup
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company provides training)
