Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Ensure OSHA compliance by wearing PPE and adhering to safety protocols
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to maintain organized workspaces
- Support equipment operation (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on residential/commercial sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Flexibility to work weekends/evenings as project demands
