Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with tool management and material logistics
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely (forklifts, jackhammers, etc.)
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and follow precise instructions for structural installations
- Perform demolition and debris removal with efficiency and environmental compliance
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
