Responsibilities
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading tools and equipment
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up safety barriers
- Perform physical tasks including digging, shoveling, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Operate basic hand tools and light machinery under supervision
- Support various trades (carpentry, masonry, demolition) as needed
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
