Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure OSHA compliance
- Perform basic concrete work, framing support, and demolition tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or physical labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in team environments
