Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with demolition, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Install temporary structures, barricades, and safety signage
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Assist with site cleanup and waste disposal
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical work
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
