Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed by the foreman.
- Perform basic site preparation, including cleaning, digging, and leveling surfaces.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Set up and break down temporary job site barriers, signage, and fencing.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under close supervision.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with general construction tasks is a plus.
