Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Site Assistance: Perform general site preparation, including digging, cleaning, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Assist in the operation of basic power tools and heavy machinery under the supervision of a foreman.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and follows all project specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and hazards.
- Team Support: Collaborate effectively with other laborers and skilled trades to complete tasks on schedule.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the job site.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
