Responsibilities
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to skilled carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with daily tasks.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials on-site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- General Cleanup: Perform daily cleanup tasks to ensure the worksite remains organized and professional.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to showing up on time for scheduled shifts.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Work Ethic: Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn the construction trade.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Valid ID: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
