Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare job sites, including removing debris and setting up staging areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision to complete basic tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
- Measurements: Perform basic measurements and cut materials as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking on uneven surfaces.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus but not strictly required.
