Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and carrying
- Maintain organized job site conditions and proper tool storage
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in outdoor environments (heat, noise, dust)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
