Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain safety protocols and PPE usage at all times
- Load/un construction materials and equipment
- Support foundation, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic tool knowledge and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for weekend/evening shifts
