Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment (hand tools, power drills) following safety guidelines.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Read and understand basic blueprints, layouts, and job specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and standing for extended periods as required by project needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain).
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
