Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with basic construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Safely operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow all safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trade professionals as needed
- Complete daily task logs and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train on the job!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Los Angeles County
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic communication skills in English
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
