Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen in site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, levels)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform cleanup operations including debris removal and waste management
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Support carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing tasks as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspection reports and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic with punctual and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
