Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Documentation: Help with basic site documentation and inventory checks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform heavy physical labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
- Safety Mindset: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
