Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily site preparation and operations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools as directed by the foreman.
- Ensure all tools and materials are stored properly after use.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of construction safety is an advantage.
