Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform excavation, demolition, and debris removal using hand/power tools
- Operate machinery like forklifts and compactors (training provided)
- Maintain clean, organized work zones following OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and execute instructions from site supervisors
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Document daily progress and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
