Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including material handling, debris removal, and excavation support
- Safely operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Perform basic construction tasks such as concrete pouring, framing assistance, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred (training available)
