Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and distribute them to the work site.
- Dig trenches, set forms for concrete, and clean up debris and scrap materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as wheelbarrows, forklifts (when certified), and hand tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction tools and safety protocols.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
