Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by following OSHA and company safety protocols.
- General Support: Provide labor support to carpenters, electricians, and other crew members as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Tools: Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, drills, levels) is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to read basic instructions and communicate clearly with the site supervisor and team.
