Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled workers on construction sites
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Load and unload construction materials, such as bricks, lumber, and tools
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear at all times
- Assist in setting up and dismantling temporary structures and equipment
- Perform physical tasks that require strength and stamina, such as digging, lifting, and carrying
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is beneficial
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
