Responsibilities
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory management at construction sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, trenching, debris removal, and equipment operation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Support skilled tradespeople with prep work, cleanup, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Report hazards and maintain organized, hazard-free work zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or physical labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily and use vibrating equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
