Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons in site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying
- Maintain organized job sites and report hazards immediately
- Support concrete, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily in outdoor conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites in NYC area
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
