Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of foremen.
- Assistance: Assist skilled craftsmen with various tasks including carpentry, masonry, or painting.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing trash and equipment after use.
- Documentation: Complete daily time sheets and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
