Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support skilled trades with general labor tasks as assigned
- Participate in project-specific duties like trenching, demolition, or foundation work
- Adapt to changing priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Detroit metro area
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
