Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors on timeline and safety protocols
- Perform system inspections and provide detailed maintenance reports
- Ensure adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Manage inventory of electrical components and tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid District of Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
