Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures per code requirements
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA and NFPA safety standards
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Document work orders, materials used, and project progress
- Perform routine system inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency in residential/commercial wiring and control systems
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
