Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Provide hands-on support during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Equipment Inspection: Perform basic safety checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and explain technical concepts in plain language.
- Wiring & Connections: Help with running wiring, connecting circuits, and terminating wires to code.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and reports regarding work performed.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain company vehicles and tools in a clean and organized manner.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as business demands require.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required if experience is high.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of tradespeople.
