Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and circuit troubleshooting
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Document work progress and maintain organized job sites
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Raleigh area
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications within 6 months
