Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing under supervision
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NEC codes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Manage inventory and maintain organized tool/equipment storage
- Document work progress and report technical issues to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service during residential/commercial visits
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to obtain Nebraska electrician apprentice certification
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Omaha metro area
