Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and NEC standards
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and proper tool usage
- Document work activities and assist with inventory management
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts (training provided)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain Kansas electrical license within 6 months
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
